Kaiser Family Foundation Releases Their Annual Data Snapshot on Medicaid Enrollment

Last week the Kaiser Family Foundation released their annual data snapshot for Medicaid enrollment. Overall findings show that the improvement in economic conditions and slow decrease in the national unemployment rates did in fact translate to slower growth in Medicaid enrollment, in particular for family and child related groups.  While growth did slow, enrollment for the families, children, and pregnant women demographic grew in all but 12 states, with California seeing a 0.2% increase for this group.
