Privacy Policy

1. Our commitment to privacy

Our Privacy and Security Policy (the “Policy”) is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us through your use of our Site and through e-mail. In addition, information you provide us in using our online Services is treated as described in this Policy, except as otherwise specified in the Services agreement between you (or the school or company you work for) and us. This Policy is not intended to be a statement of our privacy and security policies regarding information you send to us by any other means, including without limitation mail, fax, and telephone. Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy are defined in the Terms of Use Agreement, into which this Policy is incorporated.

2. Information we collect

The ONLY information we collect is information you knowingly choose to disclose. For example, if you choose to correspond with us through e-mail, we may retain your e-mail address and other identification information conveyed, together with the content of your e-mail messages and our responses. We do NOT use “cookies,” Web server logs, or other data-gathering technology to collect information about you without your knowledge, on either an individual or aggregate basis.

3. How we use the information we collect

Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of administering our business activities and providing service to our clients. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Site and new services we think you will find valuable. The lists we use to send you service offers are developed and managed under our traditional corporate standards designed to safeguard the security and privacy of our clients’ and potential clients’ personal information. As a recipient of our service offers, you will be given the opportunity to notify us of your desire not to receive these offers by sending us an e-mail request. Except as otherwise explained in this Policy, we do not share your personal information with third parties.

4. Law enforcement

We reserve the right to cooperate with government and law enforcement agencies engaged in investigations of activities that are, or are believed to be, illegal. We may share your personal information with such agencies if we believe that a crime or any act that endangers the health and safety of others may have been or may be committed. We also may share your personal information in response to an appropriate subpoena or if we deem it to be reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights.
